The brief
Gulfood Manufacturing brings more than 2,500 exhibitors in processing, packaging, ingredients and automation to Dubai World Trade Centre each November.
The site has to sell exhibition space to manufacturers and get visitors registered, and every page needs a way into both.
Built with
UX lead & PM I led UX and ran the project for an exhibition site with two jobs: sell stands and sign up visitors.
What I did
- Mapped the two goals every page must serve: book a stand and register to visit.
- Put the scale of the show into the first screens.
- Designed the partner, exhibitor and speaker showcases.
- Managed the build and the yearly refresh for each new edition.
- Ran QA on the registration journeys before launch.
The impact
- 2,500+exhibitors in processing, packaging, ingredients and automation
- 3days at Dubai World Trade Centre
- 2actions on every page: visit or exhibit
- +25%visitor registrations year on year
The call I made
Two buttons, always
Every visitor is here either to buy space or to walk the floor. We kept both actions on every page, so nobody has to hunt for the next step.
What shipped
- Two clear actions throughout: register to visit and book a stand
- The show's scale in numbers on the first screens
- A partner and exhibitor showcase
- Speaker and conference pages
- A bold, dark look with the show's purple and teal
